The recession could have started in 2006 where the unemployment rates started to move up. in 2009 had the highest increase in unemployment. the unemployment rates started to decrease as the years went on. We can compare the Great depression to the ressesion, they both had an increase in unemplyment, the cost of living esentals has been increased.
